Check-In / Check-Out Policies

This property has the following check-in and check-out times and policies.

Check-In: 3:00 PM

Check-Out: 10:00 AM

Late Check-Out Hour: 12:00 PM

Late Check-out Fees: $ 50.00

Late check out (after 10:00 AM and before 12:00 PM) may result in a fee.

Property and Cancellation Policies :

Full Charge - Full Deposit - If cancelled within 14 days of arrival

Terms and Conditions

• All of our rooms are non-smoking
• We believe the children are our future, but you still have to be 21 years old and present to book a room.
• You will be charged for your stay upon making the reservation. You can receive a full refund if you cancel more than 14 days ahead of your stay. 
• Upon check-in, a hold will be placed on your credit card for $125 for incidentals.
• All rooms are subject to a 7% tax collected by the State of Mississippi.
• Group trips are fun! When booking, keep maximum occupancy rules in mind- two people max for The Lakeside Suite and two adults and two children in The Garden Suite. 
• Got babies? We’ve got pack-and-plays available upon request, subject to availability.

Check-in/Check-out

Check-in is at 3 pm. If you arrive early, there is a screened in porch area where you can wait in comfort.
Check-out is at 10 am. Please do check-out promptly as we have to prepare the room for our next guest!

Cleaning Fee

There is a cleaning fee of $30 per accommodation, per stay. 

Events

You are staying on a 77-acre farm that also hosts events. It is possible that an event may overlap with your stay here. Your space is private, but you may see other guests enjoying the lake, screened in porch, barn, and pasture area. In addition, you are allowed 2 daytime visitors per accommodation in addition to the overnight guests. You are allowed two visitors if you book one room and four visitors if you book two rooms. If this policy is violated, we will charge a per-person date rate use of the property of $100. 

Smoking Policy

Breathe easy. Moon Lake Farm is a non-smoking property. This applies to both traditional smoking methods and all electronic delivery systems, including vapes, vaporizers, vape pens, hookah pens, electronic cigarettes (e-cigarettes or e-cigs), e-pipes, and any variations of the foregoing regardless of the product’s name. Any smoking in the rooms or strong lingering smoking scents in rooms will result in a disappointed look and a $250 room cleaning fee.

Pet Policy

Due to the nature of this being a farm with many animals, we allow pets with prior approval.

Room Policy

We want you to have a great time when you are here. But if things get too crazy, we go by the old-school rule of ‘you break it, you buy it’ and property damages or missing items will be charged to your credit card at market value. Pre-existing damages or room issues must be reported to us immediately after registration to avoid responsibility and potential charges.

Liability Release

There is inherent risk when visiting a farm that includes animals and an 8-acre lake. You are responsible for your own safety and the safety of any property or persons in your care. Watch your step and use wisdom as you navigate and enjoy the property. And, look out for fire ant beds! We do not take any responsibility for any injury or loss of property during your stay.

Sing your heart out and have passionate conversation all day long, but from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. the whole property goes into hush mode for what we like to call quiet time (or sleep time).
